Audio capture
Fifis Aux captures internal system audio only when you start or arm a recording. It does not use your microphone. Screen frames required by macOS ScreenCaptureKit are discarded and are never written to a file.
Files and storage
Recordings and exported clips are written to the folder you choose. Fifis Aux does not upload recordings, create a cloud library or transmit filenames.
Network access
Audio recording and editing work locally. When commercial license activation is enabled, the license key is sent to Gumroad solely to verify the purchase. The audio files themselves are never part of that request.
macOS permissions
macOS requires Screen Recording or Screen & System Audio Recording permission for internal-audio capture. The permission is managed by macOS and can be revoked at any time in Privacy & Security settings.
Website
This product page does not require an account and does not receive recordings from the app. Purchase processing is handled by Gumroad under its own privacy terms.
